The Mayor Kent Ranum

Kent Ranum is the Mayor of Trondheim. He represents the Conservative Party.

According to the Local Government Act, the Mayor leads the meetings in the City Council. The Mayor has the right to attend and speak in all other municipal meetings, but can only vote and make proposals as an elected member.

It is the Mayor who is the legal representative of the Municipality and signs on its behalf (unless the authority has been delegated to others).
