The municipal School of Performing Arts (Kulturskolen) offers teaching in music, and the dramatic and visual arts to children and young people between 4 and 20 years of age who are resident in Trondheim. Application for admission is required.

Classes

Keyboard instruments: Piano, keyboards/synthesizers, pipe organ, accordion

Strings: Violin, viola, cello, double bass

Wind and percussion instruments: Flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, recorder, trumpet, althorn, French horn, tenor horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, percussion

Stringed instruments: Electric guitar, electric bass, acoustic guitar, harp

Other classes: Singing, bands, studio, songwriting, music for children and young people with special needs, drama/theater, visual arts (pictorial arts), circus.

Instruments on loan:
Some instruments, including stringed instruments, harps, accordions, may be borrowed at a small fee.

To apply for classes at the Trondheim Municipal School of Performing Arts (Trondheim kommunale kulturskole - TKK), you will have to fill in the application form.
